Know what used to scare me? There was an episode of Scooby-Doo that had a faceless "monster" in a purple robe-type outfit. At the end of the episode, he got all smashed up, and the gang discovered he was a robot. Man, that freaked me out! I had a big fear of robots when I was little, but somehow, I had no problems going to Chuck E. Cheese and crawling under the stage. Go figure. My friend also had a poster of the Incredible Hulk (from the TV series), and I couldn't look at that!
I don't watch many scary movies because they stick with me for YEARS!! In college, an assignement for my Gothic lit class was to read "The Exorcist." Guess who didn't read it?
Course, you say? What course? Oh yes! I'm excited about the new episode. It was a stretch getting up at 10:30, so I'll probably be setting my VCR for the new time. I'll try to get up though (I don't trust my VCR that much.) Ah, the sacrifices we make for the fuzzy one!

Does anyone remember Ultraman? He was a Japanese superhero in this liveaction show. In every episode, he'd save Tokyo from some giant monster. Well, anyway, I was watching it when I was a real little kid, and there was a monster that bore a vague resemblance to Gumby, that little green claymation guy. Same kind of lop-sided head. Gave me recuring nightmares. I didn't like Gumby anymore after that.
Oh by the way...
Nightcrawler rocks!

Well while we are on the subject of things that scare us, does anyone remember that Superman movie (I think it was three) with Richard Prior in it. At the end that woman is sucked into the super computer and is turned into that robot. Uuuurgh! Still scares me to this day. Not as much as Pooh being done from behind by Tigger though.

Has anyone heard if there is gonna be a second season of Evolution yet? It's popular so far so I would think they would renew it...

I havent heard anything yet but, this happened at work tonight and I thought it was semi-relevant so..
We rehired this guy I fired a few months ago and he doesnt technically start until Wednesday but I seriously needed help so I paid him $10 to work for 2hrs. So...anyways.. I'm tellin' him about the new toys (XM:E) and he starts talking about the cartoon saying he saw one episode and then he didnt see the cartoon again for like a month and he saw the same ep he did the first time! And I'm like.. "Yeah! They keep showing the same 4 episodes over and over!"
And.. that's the end of my story.

Clearly, their contact with Marvel proves that the 'no idea how to promote your product' disease is contagious.

I don't know, the clown thing to me is still scary. Killer Clowns from outer space anyone. It wasn't so much as scary, but creepy.
And Kurt might be able to stand against monsters in Alien. Remeber he fought the N'Garai, and they are pretty nasty and mean.

No kidding! There's no wonder that Marvel is always hovering around bankruptcy. It's not so much their products, it's mostly that they're just plain bad businessmen. I mean, why the hell aren't the Evolution figures already out in stores? They should have had those out (at least at toy stores and Wal-Marts) BEFORE they went into reruns, and therefore BEFORE Christmas. They're not going to sell nearly as many now. I can almost see what they're doing with the Taco Bell promo, though...it should coincide with the show going back into new episodes.
Also, by milking the Cash Cows (namely Wolvie & Rogue) they turn a lot of us off to the comics. I like Wolverine, and I used to like Rogue, but the stories had been getting worse and worse, because these two were usually awkwardly jammed into the stories (some of which they clearly weren't in originally).
And hiring a guy to make business decisions when his own company folded rather quickly, well that doesn't quite make sense to me.

Ooo, Killer Clowns freaked me out too. Isn't that the one where they put people in those cocoon-looking things? Like big ole bags of cotton candy! Clowns are scarey; monkeys kind of creep me out too.

Yeah. [i]Killer Clowns from Outer Space. Freaky. Hey, does anyone remember the movie with the Zoonie Feddish doll? Trilogy of Terror 3 I think it was. The necklace fell off the doll and the doll came to life and tried to kill the lady that owned it and at the end, she like ends up posesed (sp?) by it or something. Man that movie still scares the hell of of me, I saw it once and won't watch it ever again. I won't even let my step dad watch it or mension it.

*crosses his fuzzy indigo arms and furrows his fuzzy indigo brows over his glowing saffron eyes* I try to get it back on topic, and it gets torn away again. Stupid clowns and monkeys.
